The All-New 2018 Toyota C-HR

Toyota is proud to introduce the all-new 2018 C-HR crossover. This vehicle revolutionizes style and mixes it with rebellious spirit. It features agile handling that helps show off its athletic side and it is designed to keep you in command on the inside.

The Toyota C-HR stands for “Coupe High-Rider”.  Despite this vehicle having four doors and riding lower than a typical crossover. The C-HR features a turbo 2.0-liter four that pumps out 144 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque. It has an engine that sends all power to the front wheels via continuously variable transmission (CVT) and it employs many of Toyota's latest generation of technologies, including Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and Valvematic. Both have received extensive optimization to enhance fuel economy and create a smoother operation.

The C-HR will be available in two different trims – the XLE and the XLE Premium. Each one is equipped with a long list of standard premium features including 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, supportive bucket seating, 7-inch audio display, and Toyota Safety Sense P™ (TSS-P).

On the inside of the vehicle, drivers will enjoy a slightly angled dashboard, as well as amenity controls that will allow for the driver to have a clear view of both the road ahead, as well as access to the instruments. The 2018 Toyota C-HR features a 7-inch audio display that is positioned centrally atop the dash, rather than in it. This is done to help reduce a driver's eye movements.

In addition, the C-HR features a twin-ring gauge cluster that sits behind the leather-wrapped steering wheel. There is also a 4.2-inch color Multi-Information Display that sits between the twin-ring cluster.

The Toyota C-HR comes automatically equipped with Toyota Safety Sense P™ (TSS-P). This multi-feature advanced active safety suite mixes cutting-edge active safety technologies including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection function (PCS w/PD) featuring forward collision warning and Automatic Emergency Braking, Automatic High Beams (AHB), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist function (LDA w/SA), and Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC).
