WHAT IS THE TOYOTA COMBINATION METER RECALL?
- On September 11, 2025, Toyota filed a Defect Information Report with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regarding a potential safety defect in the instrument panel display.
- Approximately 556,500 Toyota vehicles across multiple models and years (including Camry HV, Crown, RAV4, Highlander, Tacoma, and more) are affected by this recall.
- The defect may cause the 12.3-inch combination meter display to go blank at startup, reducing visibility of important warning lights and increasing the risk of a crash.
