The best-selling car in America is getting even better! The 2018 Toyota Camry’s eighth edition sees a total redesign and will feature a newfound sportiness in both performance and style mixed with its traditional dependability. The 2018 Camry will feature aggressive exterior character lines and a low center of gravity. It will also feature a spacious interior with an advanced focus on the driver. The gas and hybrid powertrains will generate more horsepower and a great estimated MPG, as well as Toyota Safety Sense-P that comes standard.

In addition, the 2018 Camry will utilize TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture), representing a completely new strategy of the way the company designs, engineers, and packages its vehicles. TNGA retains all of Toyota’s traditional values while adding a fun driving experience that plays on all the senses. The physical manifestation is the usage of a new engine, transmission and GA-K platform.

There were three main goals when designing the 2018 Toyota Camry. They include a practical, yet emotional-styled cabin, an overall sporty image, and a distinctive low center of gravity thanks to a firm wide stance. The Toyota Camry will not only be exciting to drive, but will be a new standard in the midsize-sedan category.

The new Camry will feature a two-piece grille. The curvaceous 1.6-inch-lower hood sits neatly above the grille’s uppermost section. The 2018 Camry will also include a sleeker profile than the current model has.

Also redesigned was the interior. The Camry will mix functionality, futuristic styling, and personal space and craftsmanship.  Drivers will enjoy a sporty cockpit-type environment with gauges angled toward them. The front console design will feature an ease of use of all controls/systems that is pleasing to the eye overall.

Safety is key with the 2018 Toyota Camry. Standard on the sedan will be Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P). This multi-feature advanced active safety suite bundles cutting edge active safety technologies. These include Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD), Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA); and Automatic High Beams (AHB). In addition, select models will also come with standard Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).

All 2018 Camry’s will come with 10 standard airbags and Toyota’s Star Safety System™. This includes Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, Anti-lock Braking System, and Smart Stop TechnologyĀ®. In addition, all 2018 Camry’s will come equipped with a standard backup camera.

The 2018 Toyota Camry will be available in four grades: LE, XLE, SE and XSE. Find out more about this exciting vehicle by contacting Courtesy Toyota of Brandon today!
