2027 Toyota 4Runner Transmission in Tampa, FL

Common signs include delayed or harsh engagement, slipping under load, shudder at light throttle, a transmission warning, or dark/burnt-smelling fluid.

On a 2027 Toyota 4Runner, these symptoms indicate the need for a quick inspection and scan for stored transmission fault codes. Courtesy Toyota of Brandon in the greater Tampa Bay area can road test, verify the concern, and advise whether maintenance or repair is appropriate. Symptoms point to a condition but are not a diagnosis; internal wear can mimic fluid issues.

• Delayed drive or reverse engagement from a stop
• RPM flares or slipping while accelerating
