We bring great news! Joining the incredible off-road
credibility of Toyotaās TRD line up will be the 2017 4Runner TRD Off-Road! You
will have two grades to choose from, either the TRD Off-Road or the TRD
Off-Road Premium and both will offer the Toyota Racing Development branding. The
4Runner allows drivers to take on treacherous terrains, as well as transporting
passengers, as well as their stuff.
The TRD Off-Road 4 Runnerās exterior will feature a unique
TRD Off-Road badge, as well as black painted wheels. Inside, the vehicle will include
a center console that features a carbon fiber look, as well as TRD Off-Road
designated floor mats. The TRD Off-Road Premium 4Runner will include the TRD
red lettering on both driver and passenger headrests.
The 2017 4Runner TRD Off-Road will feature electronic-locking
rear differential and both the Off-Road and the Off-Road Premium grades will
include the Multi-Terrain Select system that will allow drivers to use a dial
to select the right mode to match the terrain. The 4Runner will also include Toyotaās
Crawl Control (CRAWL) which helps to maintain a constant speed, enhancing
vehicle control when driving up and over obstacles in challenging off-road
situations. This allows the driver to be able to focus on steering over
obstacles without having to also modulate the throttle or brake pedal.
The Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) will be available
on the TRD Off-Road 4 runner and will facilitate extended wheel travel at slow
speeds for greater off-road capability and stability. The Mogul setting is
perfect for extremely uneven terrain. In this mode, wheel slip is minimized and
the system acts more like a limited slip differential.
The 2017 4Runner will be available in six grades: SR5, SR5
Premium, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, Limited, and TRD Pro. Pricing for
all grades will be available prior to the 4Runnerās launch later this
year. For further information about the
