Can you believe the Toyota
4Runner is celebrating 35 years? Since its introduction in 1984,
Toyota 4Runner has built a reputation as the do-anything adventure vehicle.
However, in those 35 years, the 4Runner has also evolved to offer more
comforts, safety and tech, all things that new vehicle drivers look for when searching
for a new SUV. The biggest reason the 4Runner is still beloved simply has less
to do with any changes that have been made and more to do with what hasnāt ā
namely never losing its core DNA as a SUV up for anything.
Changes have been made for the 2019 4Runner, as it gains in
both the looks and the capability departments thanks to two new offerings. The
first offering is the new Nightshade Special Edition which will offer limited
buyers a sleek, sporty package that is accented with black features that
include 20-inch black wheels, black bumper and grille accents, and black
interior trim on the steering wheel, center cluster, console panels and
shifter, just to name a few.
In addition, the 4Runner TRD Pro has returned in 2019 with
some significant changes. The most crucial for the 2019 4Runner is an all-new
suspension package that includes 2.5-inch Fox Internal Bypass Shocks for
impressive off-road performance that doesnāt sacrifice on-road handling.
4Runner TRD Pro also gains a TRD Roof Rack, standard JBL Premium Audio and
moonroof, and an updated front skid plate with red TRD lettering.
One thing is certain. Regardless of the grade or package,
the 2019 Toyota 4Runner is as versatile as ever. The Toyota 4Runner is a
family-hauling, boat-towing, hill-climbing sport-utility SUV that can adapt to
just about any situation. Oh yeah, and it is super roomy, offering seating for
up to seven passengers. Whether blazing trails or navigating the concrete
jungle, 4Runner is up to the task.
